Rachel received a B.A. in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcasting in 2003. She spent the next two years as an audio producer for a ministry in the US until she felt God calling her to use her skills in a missions capacity. Daniel studies Online Journalism at a German University of Applied Sciences. In August 2010 he started his five month internship as a writer with Monsoon Communications in Manila, Philippines. After his internship, Daniel returned to Germany and now continues his studies until summer 2012.

Debora was raised in Paraguay and now lives in Germany. She has a B.A. in Communications/Publicity and Spanish. She was working as a writer with Monsoon Communications in Manila, Philippines, from November 2010 to January 2011. In the future she hopes to work in third world countries, using her gifts to impact the life of others. But for now she is getting some more education in Germany.

Elyse has worked as a photojournalist for Monsoon Communications since January 2010. She is assigned to the Pacific Area and works remotely from Sydney, Australia. Elyse is passionate about two things – photography and the ministry of Bible translation. With degrees in theology and linguistics, and years of experience as a working photographer, she couldn’t be more happy to serve with Monsoon, bringing home the news from the front lines.

Jaz was born in Malaysia, grew up in Australia and now serves full time in Thailand with a ministry of YWAM called Create International. In 2003 she received her Bachelor of Creative Arts – Graphic Design with a focus on multimedia and photography. She spent the next years free-lancing and working with a graphics studio in Sydney until she joined YWAM in 2007. She is enjoying the travel and creativity within her role in missions. Her main passion is to see contextualised forms of the gospel created.

Sarah is studying Professional Writing at Taylor University in Indiana. She has written for Guidepost Books, Chicken Soup for the Soul, The Christian Communicator, and other publications. She is also working to earn two minors: one in philosophy, and one in psychology. She is spending her summer as an writing intern for Monsoon Communications in Papua New Guinea. Her main passions in life besides writing are music, travel, and people.
